Apparently this fundraiser happened this weekend. Dara meets Eliza "As if that wasn't enough to make my night, I ran into Eliza Dushku after dinner. I introduced myself and told her I was recapping Dollhouse for AfterEllen.com. She didn't walk off in a huff, so that was good. We talked about the show — she's a soft talker, so I happily had to lean in to hear her — and she said they finished shooting Season 1. I asked her if the finale had a good cliffhanger. She said no, but it's "very interesting," whatever that means. While we were talking, they rolled the video I wrote for the Arts & Entertainment Award. I was waiting to see it, but missed it because I was talking to Eliza — and you don't tell Eliza Dusku to shut up, just so you can admire yourself. In a week or so I'll share my picks for this year since I'm currently still narrowing that list down to ten. I find it to be a fun brain teaser while I'm staring at students during the mind numbing procedure that TAKS testing has become.

Brief Rant

I just read BLWE on AE from Friday, December 19 (My mother's birthday, Happy B-day Mom!)

Here's the thing. I just can't get even remotely excited about the upcoming season of TLW when I know there is no WGN. WTF??

I might read Scribegrrl; she is responsible for my finding WGN in the first place and I have read every other season from her; however, I have zero interest in watching anyone else but my terrible trio vlog it. In fact not really even interested in watching the show.

On a happy note I am interested in seeing Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse because I absolutely love me some Eliza. I could enjoy watching her read the phone book.
